This series of works draws inspiration from personal experience and the current situation of art education in China, to explore a series of contemporary children's art education issues.

The film explores the Chinese approach to teaching painting, offering insights into the teaching of painting across cultures. It is pointed out that Chinese students tend to focus too much on technical skills and precision and neglect creativity and personal expression. China is known as a country of copycats (​Han, B. C 2017)and this may be part of the reason for this.

This film explores the current status of painting teaching for Chinese children, presents it in the form of lessons, and critically points out its shortcomings.

This practice was completed by inviting a child to work with the author to explore the expression of rain using the Chinese word "淋" as the theme.
